Iran's position is being misrepresented by U.S. media. We are deeply grateful to Pakistan for its efforts and have never refused to go to Islamabad. What we care about are the terms of a conclusive and lasting END to the illegal war that is imposed on us. پاکستان زنده باد

Proud and honored to have accompanied the Strong and Resilient People of Iran to mark International Quds Day. Iranians will ALWAYS stand firm and NEVER cower before cowardly attacks. Video: Reaction of demonstrators when Tehran was bombed today is nightmare for aggressors.

Benjamin Netanyahu is a wanted war criminal. He is also a con man who has duped successive U.S. Presidents into fighting his own wars for almost three decades. By all indications, the purpose of Netanyahu's criminal attack on Iran—killing hundreds of innocent civilians, including women and children—is to scuttle a DEAL between Iran and the U.S., which we were on the right path to achieve. He is playing yet another American President, and ever more American taxpayers, for absolute fools. Our powerful Armed Forces are making clear to the world that the war criminals hiding in shelters in Tel Aviv will not go unpunished for their crimes. We will continue to pummel the cowards for as long as needed to make sure that they are no longer firing at our people. If President Trump is genuine about diplomacy and interested in stopping this war, next steps are consequential. Israel must halt its aggression, and absent a total cessation of military aggression against us, our responses will continue. It takes one phone call from Washington to muzzle someone like Netanyahu. That may pave the way for a return to diplomacy. Conversely, getting the U.S. mired in the Mother of Forever Wars will destroy any prospect for a negotiated solution, with dangerous, unpredictable and likely UNFATHOMABLE consequences for regional security and the global economy. Let us not forget: Iran did NOT begin this war and has no interest in perpetuating bloodshed. But we will proudly fight to the last drop of blood to protect our land, our people, our dignity and our achievements. Video: Netanyahu duping U.S. Congress into the disaster in Iraq, 2002.

Of all governments, the one in Germany is perhaps the worst placed to address "human rights". The reason is simple: its blatant double-standards over the past years have obliterated any shred of credibility. When Iran defeats terrorists who kill civilians and police officers, the German Chancellor rushes to declare that "violence is an expression of weakness". What, then, does Mr. Merz have to say about his wholehearted support for the mass murder of 70,000 Palestinians in Gaza? Iranians also recall Mr. Merz's repugnant hailing of Israel when it bombed homes and businesses in our country last summer. That unprovoked and unlawful violence, the German Chancellor insisted, was Israel doing Europe a favor by carrying out its "dirty work". This is to say nothing about how Germany has been mute about the recent U.S. kidnapping of a Head of State. My German counterpart's lecture about "human rights" and "legitimacy" is equally meaningless as his employer has done nothing to uphold either. Do us all a favor: have some shame. Better yet, Germany should end its unlawful interference in our region—including its support for Genocide and Terrorism.

WEF cancelled my appearance in Davos on the basis of lies and political pressure from Israel and its U.S.-based proxies and apologists. There is one fundamental truth to the recent violence in Iran: We had to defend our people against armed terrorists and ISIS-style killings openly backed by Mossad. The sad irony: Israel's genocide of Palestinians and mass slaughter of 71,000 innocent people have not compelled WEF to cancel any invitation extended to Israeli officials whatsoever. In fact, Herzog even did a victory lap in Davos as early as January 2024, even as he faced criminal charges in Switzerland for the unfolding Genocide in Gaza. If WEF wants to feign a supposedly "moral" stance, that is its prerogative. But it should at least be consistent about it. The current blatant double standard only conveys moral depravity and intellectual bankruptcy. People have the right to know the truth and judge for themselves. Shame is solely reserved for those who think otherwise. Watch this:

Unfortunately, this was all too predictable. Which capital is next? The rabid Israeli regime knows no bounds and only grasps one language. The world, including the region, must unite to end its unhinged aggression. Iran supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, and will always stand with the Syrian people.

Just the other day, an innocent young woman in the United States—an American citizen and mother of three—was executed by ICE at point-blank range. The U.S. Administration labeled her a "domestic terrorist" while President Trump called it a matter of self-defense; the Department of Homeland Security threatened Americans that "if you lay a finger on a federal officer or agent, you will face the full extent of the law." Here in Iran, police officers are being executed by actual terrorists overseen by what Mr. Pompeo has openly called Mossad agents. And we have the receipts. Does this look like a "protest" for FREEDOM? Or the exact kind of scenes that the U.S. Administration would NEVER tolerate within its own borders?

I am in Beirut—alongside members of our Parliament and Red Crescent Society—to make clear that Iran will ALWAYS stand with people of Lebanon. We invite other regional govts to also display steadfastness in their support for Lebanon, especially amid onslaught by Israeli regime.

Iran’s unanimous election to the CWC Executive Council marks a meaningful step for all who believe in a world free of chemical weapons. As a nation that has suffered deeply from Saddam’s chemical attacks during the 1980–1988 war on our people, Iran carries enduring wounds that still affect tens of thousands of victims and their families. During the Conference, I was accompanied by Mr. Kamal Hoseinpur, MP from Sardasht—a city that stands as a global symbol of resistance, suffering, and the call for justice. The people of Sardasht endured chemical attacks whose consequences continue even today, made worse by unjust U.S. sanctions that restrict access to vital medicines and medical care. The truth must prevail, and those who supported Saddam’s chemical weapons program must be held responsible. We urge Germany to release the results of its past investigations and commit to full and ransparent investigations about the involvement of its companies and nationals in enabling Saddam’s atrocities. The judicial investigations by Dutch authorities which led to the prosecution and conviction of one Dutch individual is appreciated. However, we all know that it was the very minimum and showed only the tip of the iceberg. Justice for the victims is overdue, and their calls for justice must never be forgotten. We all pay tribute to those who lost their lives during Saddam’s savage chemical attacks, and to those who are still suffering from their injuries.

The EU recently targeted ordinary Iranians and other travelers by banning our airlines from Europe. It did so on the basis of the false and unfounded claim that Iran has delivered ballistic missiles to Russia for use in #Ukraine. Now, even President Zelensky himself has explicitly stated that no Iranian missiles have been delivered to Russia. High time for the EU to end this farce. The targeting of ordinary Iranians based on thin air is immoral and plain wrong. It must be immediately reversed.

In address before the UN Security Council, I outlined how the United States has betrayed diplomacy and how the E3 have buried it. None of what I have seen in New York suggests that the failure of dialogue is by accident. The U.S./E3 rejection of diplomacy is intent and premised on the miscalculation that "might makes right", and that the Iranian People will give in to bullying. Doubling down on faulty assumptions will not resolve the unnecessary crisis at hand. In my statement, I stressed that the E3 violated their obligations under the JCPOA and Resolution 2231, thereby forfeiting any right to now claim. Their invocation of the so-called snapback mechanism is nothing but a blatant abuse of process. UNSCR 2231 will expire on Oct 18, 2025. Terminated sanctions cannot be revived and any attempt to do is null and void.

In the past 48 hours, the heinous lie that the unlawful Israeli and U.S. bombing of Iran was motivated by an imminent nuclear threat has been thoroughly debunked by - The International Atomic Energy Agency Chief, who has explicitly stated that Iran "is not and was not" developing nuclear weapons. - My Omani counterpart, H.E. AlBusaidi, an intermediary trusted by both Iran and the U.S., who has made clear that there was never any Iranian "nuclear threat". Iran did not kill diplomacy. Those who blew up the negotiating table did. Israel targeted diplomacy because its real fear is the failure of its "Iran Demonization Project". POTUS entered office promising to put an end to Netanyahu's bamboozling of Obama and Biden. It's not too late to reverse course.
