Really appreciate how thoughtful Jordan Burroughs is here about why he never made the transition to MMA: "I really considered it, like heavily considered it. One of the hardest parts about growing older, Ariel, is that you have to let dreams die. There are certain things that, when you're young and when you're hungry... you believe you can do it all... As you get older, you start to realize that, man, this may have passed for me. At the heart of why I wanted to go to MMA was the glamour. It was the celebrities ringside, it was the big paydays, it was the global recognition, and it wasn't the purity. Being a Christian... I thought that transition would be more about what I could get and who I could become, and I just don't think it would have been good for my faith, for my family, or for my marriage. That lifestyle would not have been healthy for a family man."

Had the chance to speak with Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla and watch him train with the great Eric Nicksick. Really fascinating to hear how much MMA has influenced the way he coaches. He’s clearly put in the work himself. Far more than just a fan of the sport. Hard to admit as a Knicks fan, but props where they're due.

AEW deserves a ton of credit for what it pulled off at Wembley. A seven-year-old promotion drawing around 45k-50k fans, creating genuinely meaningful matchups and making the entire show feel massive. Will Ospreay’s entrance, the Adam Copeland singalong, the atmosphere... the whole thing felt big.
