There is a lot of misinformation around adaptive RO on youtube, a lot of which is seeded by brands through influencers So thought will be good to debunk this myth around adaptive RO. I am sharing specifically for Atomberg Intellon, which happens to be India’s first adaptive RO Our RO and UF filters remove all bacteria and virus, and all water also goes through UV which provides an extra layer of protection against microbiological impurities. Coming to the question of heavy metals, our carbon filter removes several heavy metals like lead, mercury, etc. But some of you are right, there will be some that don't get removed without RO The govt. has drinking water standards which define what concentration of each metal is safe for drinking (IS10500). Also, the govt. publishes water quality data across India periodically (NWMP) Wherever the concentration of any such metal that cannot be removed by carbon filter is higher than drinking water specification, Atomberg Intellon intelligently enforces selection of RO-only mode (see the attached screen recording) With technology available to protect users in risky areas, the benefits of mineral enhancement should not be discarded. We wanted Jackie Dada to promote our water purifier with a simple script of how you should measure the input TDS of your water and basis the range of select the right water purifier ( UV/RO/RF/Adaptive etc etc) His response was "Kisne likha h yeh. A very common question asked is “Are Atomberg products made in India” The answer is yes. 99 percent of our products are designed and developed in India. 95 percent of our products are manufactured in India. We have one of the largest manufacturing setups of our industry in Chakan The remaining 1 percent ( because of pilot launches/less scale) aren’t manufactured in India But the moment we reach some scale, we localise manufacturing. Good examples of this in last year are exhaust fans and pedestal fans
