You may never see a lion like this in the wild. It happens mostly in the illegal breeding centers. Normally in the wild, lions don't practice inbreeding. Males will leave the pride as soon as they are around 2 years so that they won't mate with their mothers or sisters. In those breeding centers however, they'll mate siblings and mothers/fathers with their direct offsprings. With time, you get lions with different malformations like this.

This is Melody Felicano Johnson. She was adding bleach to her husband, Roby Johnson's coffee in 2003. After taking it for a while and noticing a consistent strange taste, Roby tested the coffee with pool strip and discovered that it has elevated chlorine level. They set hidden camera up in the kitchen and this is part of what was recorded.

No animal can prey upon a healthy adult hippo. Adult hippos routinely dominate and kill even the largest crocodiles in one-on-one confrontations. Even lions do collect wotowoto from them. Only humans can, and it's because of our weapons.

This is a perfect example. In order to convince people (in the US, I think) not to eat chicken, turkey, beef and the rest again, PETA roasted a dog and presented it to them. The message is clear... If you can't eat a dog, why do you eat turkey. Imagine they tried this in Calabar or Ondo....

Number 1... Crocodile Don't get me wrong. Honey badgers are fearless and would challenge any animal, no matter their size. One of the things that makes honey badgers escape many animals is its loose skin. Once its attacker bites on part of its body, the honey badger would turn in its loose skin and bite the attacker. In the case of crocodiles though, once a crocodile gets a good grip of a honey badger, there's no escape. Their jaw is wide enough and they have enough grip to hold the badger in place till it dies, at least.

I don't speak Hadzabe but I'm sure the man is talking about how difficult it is to hunt aardvarks because of how fast they dig. Aardvarks can dig a 2 feet hole in just 15 seconds. In fact, they're so good in digging holes and burrows that they don't sleep in a burrow for long. They may not sleep in a burrow for two nights. They just keep moving and dig new ones wherever they want to sleep. Their abandoned burrows serve as homes for warthogs, snakes, rabbits and so on. They're the real estate moguls of the wild.

Today, I learnt that chew toys are made to smell like meat. I was so surprised to see a video of this coastal carpet python swallowing a chew toy. I had to go read about chew toys and I discovered that chew toys are intentionally designed to smell like meat

As soon as the grandma tried to attack the monkey, I knew she'd be in trouble. She's lucky that there's a younger person around. You don't challenge a monkey unless you're agile.

Did you know? If ball pythons are stressed for any reason at all, they can just go on a hunger strike till they die. Here in this video, the owner of the ball python is practicing assist feeding. They will gently push the food into the python's mouth till it has gone almost all the way. The snake will do the rest.

This is the first time I would see an elephant attack a human ruthlessly like this. If you investigate well, something must have happened. There's a high chance the person has done something terrible to the elephant before.
