This is the first dedicated event Abdul El-Sayed has done on the campaign trail with Hindu Americans and they still called it a “South Asian” Diwali event. What a spit in the face to Hindu Americans. Abdul selectively campaigns with organizations who validate his narrow-minded worldview. Meanwhile, I’ve seen Mike Rogers again and again at countless events representing VARIOUS communities. I’ve seen this man reach out to Black Michiganders, Jewish Michiganders, and Hindu Michiganders. I even saw a beautiful red “Albanians for Mike Rogers” sign recently. When was the last time you saw this level of bipartisan enthusiasm? I’m not sure, but Mike has made one thing clear during this campaign. He aims to represent all Michiganders. I’m voting for Mike Rogers on Tuesday. And you should too.

Anojan Sivarasa is a 24 year old Sri Lankan Hindu who is facing the death penalty… Because of a social media post. Someone insulted Lord Shiva in a comment section, prompting him to respond by insulting the Prophet Muhammad. Within minutes, he deleted the post and even posted a video apology. Steven Crowder used my video to discuss Indian immigration and assimilation trends. But he completely failed to address my point that Bo French’s comments was an act of racial profiling. Steven thinks the existence of Hindu temples and people doing traditional Indian dances is a sign of “failed assimilation.” The lines between actual immigration discourse and degrading people of Indian descent is blurred beyond recognition. Both Groypers and Islamists hate me for very different reasons. I find it wild that me simply calling out Bo French’s comments about Indians at the UT game unleashed the groyper army on me. As for the Islamists, they hated me from the very start because I’m willing to call out radical Islamist attitudes directed against Hindus and Jews. As a Hindu American Conservative, I will continue to fight for what I believe is right. I don’t care about appeasing anyone.
