During yesterday’s session of the Virginia House of Delegates, reports circulated that visitors in the gallery were asked to remove or surrender American flags. The reason for this directive has not yet been clarified by Democratic House leadership. But you can see a police officer taking flags in the public seating area. Many Virginians are expressing concern and asking for transparency about why flags were removed from the public gallery. Having a monopoly on political power is bad for Virginia. Obama came to Hampton Roads yesterday to fix a known problem with Democrats - low black voting turnout for Spanberger. The room was filled with white liberals. While it was a large crowd - the mission was not accomplished. Black voters who were told by Obama last year to vote for Harris based on her race are unpersuaded by the glaring flip flop in this race. Tuesday is going to be a lot closer than the pollsters predict. The rally was a pep rally. Not a GOTV rally. This wasn’t enthusiasm for Spanberger or Jones. It was enthusiasm to see Obama. I think we are going to see something amazing this election - Democrats have lost their grip over black voters to “tell” them who to vote for.

So Winsome Sears is at the JMU football game and this white liberal yells “go back to Haiti”. (And before you ask how I know he is a liberal - they have already investigated him, identified him and looked at his political giving). So I ask everyone - is this racist? Can we all collectively agree that yelling at a black woman “go back to Haiti” is racist? Even though that phrase was yelled at by a white liberal towards a black female Republican. Can we all just say / yes this is racist ? Can we also agree to say this is racist without saying.. but but but Trump is worse? This is racist. There is no place for it. Period.

Yet Richmond’s priority was banning the future sale of many common semi-automatic firearms and magazines over 15 rounds. Meanwhile, a hand-cranked Gatling gun remains legal because it is not a semi-automatic firearm. Less than 15 people died in Virginia from rifle homicides. That means you have 100x higher chance of dying from tripping over your shoelace or falling off a ladder than being killed by an AR15. Democrats are not serious.

I’m posting the video of what Virginia Beach is actually doing under this so-called “emergency” curfew. Meet my new client. Sgt. Michael Barker—a disabled combat veteran of the Global War on Terror who served with the 3rd Infantry Division in Iraq. After his service, he continued serving his community as a harm reduction instructor and started a small independent journalism page to help people understand their rights. He went to the Oceanfront to document the City’s response to these curfew laws, identified himself as a journalist, and was told he needed “credentials” that don’t exist in the ordinance. When he refused to produce ID on demand, he was arrested. He is now facing a class 1 misdemeanor punishable up to 1 year in jail and a $2500 fine. He spent the evening in jail in handcuffs. You don’t have to have “papers” to be press. Not under the law and certainly not under the illegal ordinance passed by VB City Council. If CNN was there - the police would have been a-ok. Sgt Barker is there - he gets cuffed and stuffed. What happens next? I beat his curfew charge (pro bono). Then a civil action against the city for this nonsense curfew. FAFO.

Democrat leadership blinked. The collective punishment of Republicans ended once sunshine hit them today. They have now just removed Del Griffin from all committee assignments - because for 30 seconds - he talked about protecting human life. Griffin never apologized. Good for him.

Something strange happened. A lot of Republican bills died on the floor today. Bills that had unanimous or near unanimous support in committees - got to the floor and were killed. This is called a line 5 problem. Line 5 is the name (and party) of the patron. So what happened ? Whose feelings got hurt ? I went back and watched all the committee hearings today. I found this. An exchange between Del Griffin (R) and Del Price (D) where Griffin tried to talk about protecting the unborn and got silenced by Price. Is it because of that less than 1 minute exchange that Dems are killing bills on the floor dealing with expanding a pharmacy board by 1 member? I can’t be for sure — but I’ve been there and one thing I can tell you is that Democrats will scorch earth when their feelings get hurt. This is how the government is run. Good bills that everyone agreed were good bills with GOP patrons, that would help make Virginia better - are dead - because someone’s corn flakes got pi$$ed in talking about protecting babies.
