After completion of the Robotics Specialist skills training, we keep our skills current via Track and Capture refreshers. This particular refresher was in the Systems Engineering Simulator in a mockup of the space station’s Cupola. These lessons emphasize the importance of crew coordination in order to successfully track and capture visiting resupply vehicles. Very neat facility!

Wrapped up an awesome week and a half of #helicopter flying with the Colorado Army National Guard team in Gypsum, Colorado at their High-Altitude ARNG Aviation Training Site (HAATS). We saw how crew coordination fits into power management, actively interpreted what the aircraft and environment are telling us, dealt with visual illusions in the mountains, and worked together to deal with any misinterpretations. This training will come in handy to prepare us for NASA Artemis moon landings!
