Why Fartcoin is the final memecoin In the clip below, music artist Russ talks about the progression of the hiphop genre - where each great artist from the last 2 decades came into the rap game with their own unique perspective (50 cent sold drugs, Jay-Z brought the CEO perspective, Kanye the was the artistic producer turned rapper, cudi + drake were emotional etc.) Each artist brought a new perspective from black culture which helped them stand out and become great. But in 2025, there are barely any new perspectives left to hear from (except, perhaps a "legitamate crackhead" as Russ says). This is why the rap and hiphop genre is on the decline numbers wise, and are losing mindshare to country music. And memecoins are at the exact same juncture. Think about it. We had the early OG dog memecoins (doge, shib), we've had internet classic memes like pepe, new genz slang memes (mog), cat coins (popcat), dog coin derivates (dog wif hat), and then with the advent of pump fun, thousands are launched everyday. Most if not all, are just another derivative/iteration of what has come before - "___wif___" memes, another animal coin (moo deng), news coins, celebrity coins (which trump topped). It's everything everywhere all at once And nothing new emerges because we've done it all - there is nothing creative left to explore here. No new concepts that aren't a repeat of what came before. and what's left in the wake of all these memes is the oldest joke on earth: farts. Fartcoin is the final memecoin. If memecoins are commentary on financial nihilism, then there is nothing more financially nihilistic than fartcoin (it's literally hot air) If memecoins are entertainment or fun, then what's more entertaining and funnier than fartcoin? If memecoins are supposed to be relatable, then what is more relatable than farting? literally everyone does it. By every metric we use to evaluate or classify memecoins, whether that's narrative, community engagement, meme potential, or cultural relevance, Fartcoin scores a perfect 10 on all fronts. When there's nothing left to explore creatively or conceptually, all that remains is hot air. Which is why fartcoin is the final memecoin.
