Raavana was never just a devotee of Lord Shiva to me. He was a craftsman too. The Shiv Tandav Stotram is built with such precision that even a single misplaced or mispronounced consonant can disrupt its rhythm. And that’s what fascinates me most. It isn’t merely a hymn named after the Tandav. It is the Tandav. The full version is live on YouTube. Go watch it. Om Namah Shivay 🙏

The Pashupati Seal. From Mohanjo-Daro. Nearly 4,500 years old. For a century, it refused to speak to us. Then I came across the work of Dr. Rao (yajnadevam). During the COVID lockdown, this Indian computer scientist used cryptography to read what generations of scholars could not. He compared it to the Mahabharat. Found 7 distinct alignments. His conclusion: an ancient prayer to Lord Shiva, carved into a seal. Our ancestors didn't just build cities. They recorded devotion. The British often called it "mythology". But what if it's simply history told in a script we forgot to read?

One of the biggest colonial translation scams in history. In 1795, an English scholar, H T Colebrooke, deliberately mistranslated a few verses from the Rigveda and used it to justify ritual widow burning, calling it Sati. Invaders attacked the Somnath ji temple repeatedly over the last 1000 years. Our ancestors fought them bravely, often to the death. And those who survived rebuilt the temple. This happened 17 times. 17 times. Our ancient culture has survived with the blood and sacrifice of our ancestors. When we pray at Somnath ji, we don't just worship our God, Lord Shiva. We also honour our courageous ancestors. Om Namah Shivaya! Jai Somnath! #Somnath #SomnathSwabhimanParv2026 #Saurashtra #LordShiva #OmNamahShivaya

Did you know that global finance wasn't actually pioneered by the West? Long before Wall Street, credit cards, or modern risk analysis existed, Acharya Chanakya (Kautilya) wrote down the exact working code of finance in the Arthashastra 2,300 years ago. From कुसीद (interest) to dynamic risk premiums, ancient India laid the groundwork for how money flows today.

When we look up at the pole star, we think it's fixed and assume its always been in the same place. That is not so. Because the Earth wobbles, a phenomenon known as precession. Which changes the sky regularly. Today it's the Polaris at 'pole position' but a few thousand years, it was a different star. Our Vishnu Purana places Dhruv within the Shishumara, the Draco constellation. Modern astronomy confirms this would have been true... but around 4,500 years ago! That was the peak of the Indus Valley Civilisation! Dr. Rao's research points out that whoever wrote those lines in the Vishnu Puran was looking at the sky at that period of time, which is during the Mature Harappan Civilisation! Our Puranas are not just stories. They are the oldest astronomical data logs ever recorded.

Nearly 1,900 years ago, Ushavadata, son-in-law of a powerful king, created the concept of an endowment fund. Around 120 CE, he set up a brilliant financial system to care for monks forever: never touch the principal money, put it to work earning interest, and live strictly off what it earns. Watch the full episode on how ancient history built global finance!

For years, we were taught that India's Vedic civilisation came from somewhere else. That Sanskrit was brought by the "Aryans". That the Vedic world and the Indus Valley Civilisation were separate stories. But what if they were always the same? What if the Indus-Saraswati Civilisation was Vedic, an ancestor of all of us Indians. Bharath Rao's decipherment of the Indus script suggests the language of the Harappan people may have been Sanskrit, which means our civilisational continuity runs far deeper than we've been told. For 200 years, others told us who we were. Now, the stones are speaking for themselves. Every Indian should know what they have to say.
