The Colorado Senate is now scheduled to debate and vote on SB25-003 on Friday, January 31! The bill passed committee on Tuesday and is moving fast! Contact all Democratic state Senators and Governor Polis to express your concerns and opposition to this dangerous legislation. We have all the tools you need to take action at Your voice matters! Please speak up! 1.) This is the biggest gun ban ever. It's larger than any other state. It has never been done before. It is an experiment and Colorado is the test state. 2.) People use these guns for common lawful purposes... hunting, sport, self-defense. 3.) Detachable magazines make firearms safer, allowing users to safely unload the firearm and clear malfunctions, preventing negligent discharges. With fixed magazines, firearms cannot be safely locked with a cable lock and majority of guns will be stored loaded.
