I've had a play around with the new Sega Saturn emulator Ymir. It's in it's early stages but showing great promise with it's ease of use and deinterlacing and the ability to swap out mesh transparencies for the real thing, as you can see in the windows of the Lancia in Sega Rally

Banjo Recompiled out now on PC with support for higher framerates and mods such as BK Nostalgia 64

Mario 64 with raytracing and Luigi. This is the Render 96 project which aimed to recreate the look of the original promotional material around Mario 64 and can be built with sm64pcBuilder2 (link below)

Capcom are on to something with Pragmata. The combat is so much fun, as you hack enemies using the face buttons whilst moving in real time, here I use a stasis gun to keep them in place and it looks amazing. It's silky smooth on PC and here I'm over 100fps with RT on and DLAA

This is an EmuVR room I downloaded from Jason Steel on YouTube and its just a wonderful setup. All the consoles you can see can be played and even the VHS player, just amazing work and a great way to play retro games

Wiseguy has created a tool to make PC ports of N64 games without full decompilations, which means we should see many more PC ports. The first of these is Zelda Majora's Mask and uses Darío RT64 renderer for widescreen and high framerate support and plays beautifully

The PC port of Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast has received some new fixes and tweaks including improved reflections, better controller support, music swapping, disabling vehicle LODs, faster loading and UI scaling and more

Modern gaming in a nutshell. Despite all the tracks, cars etc being installed on my PS5 Pro, Gran Turismo 7 is completely unplayable right now due to some external server nonsense. Thankfully my trusty Sega Dreamcast works just fine

This repack is now my favourite way to play Sega Rally 2, the Dreamcast/PC version always had superior content but came with other issues. This repack fixes basically all the issues I had with it and the optional reshade brightens the image, closer to the arcade version

A mix of stages from the fan game Turbo Outrun Reimagined which got updated to v0.5 recently. I just love the look of super scaler games and they absolutely still work today

ProjectR is a recomp/PC port of San Francisco Rush: The Rock and now also San Francisco Rush 2049 with the latest update. It looks and runs great and is a lot of fun if you like arcade racing. Link below

This new Mario Kart is pretty good isn't it? This is Mario Kart 64 Amped, which has all new tracks (some borrowed from elsewhere) and many customisation options for weapons etc for both emulation and real hardware
