Discipline is overrated. You make a to-do list, follow it for 3 days, then return to your routine. Why does this happen? I watched a video by Tanmay explaining flow about 3 years ago, found it again, and thought I'd share this. You make extremely ambitious plans that don't match your current skills and get overwhelmed. This makes you anxious, and anxiety becomes resistance. You never reach the state where everything flows smoothly on its own. Whenever you set a goal, make sure it aligns with your reality plus a bit of challenge so it excites you instead of boring or making you anxious. Tanmay Bhat

Alcohol kills, but loneliness and stress kill more. So, is this trade-off worth it? Today, drinking is a major way to build bonds at corporate events, parties, and friends’ gatherings. Earlier, marketing campaigns claimed moderate wine was healthy. Now, it’s established that even a drop of alcohol is bad, affecting you physically, mentally, and on a cellular level. I was a teetotaller for my entire 28 years until last month’s first friends’ trip to Pune. I stayed 15 days and drank on four occasions. I planned to stop after one peg but ended up having at least 2 on three of them. NGL, I felt light, calm, and slept well, but had a hangover the next day. I was watching this podcast clip And the question of capacity came up, and now it is absolutely clear: there is no safe limit of drinking alcohol. During and after college, I drank only four times: - 25 December 2020 - 21 January 2021 - 22 January 2021 - 25 December 2023 Each time, college friends met after gaps (COVID, end of college, get-togethers), so I joined them. I used to live in a 3 BHK flat with four of my flatmates in college and they used to drink at least once a week. But in those four years I never touched it and it was my conscious decision that I would not succumb to it. Recently, a childhood friend (known since UKG) has been heavily influenced to drink since 2019. He’s trying to quit but has seizures, insomnia, and panic attacks. He’s on medication and feels nauseous every day. I’ve seen both sides of alcohol use mild and heavy...both are counterproductive only, but loneliness and stress kill more. Is the trade-off still worth it?

😀School education should include this as well in their curriculum. Hats off to this teacher telling the difference between "bad touch" and "good touch". Its a brilliant initiative.🤩 Schools should also include Empathy, Compassion, good behaviour as a key learning among boys.
