Mind-blowing moment on the House floor as MAGA Rep. Lupe Diaz moved three bills (HBs 2167, 2168, 2169) to protect Saudi-owned farms that are illegally draining groundwater in his and other rural districts, and to punish AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes for suing. Mayes recently secured an $11 settlement with one of these farms. They should be throwing her a parade. Rep. Sandoval For AZ calls him out.

Watch as House GOP Appropriations Chair David Livingston, under questioning from Democrats this week, says he hopes to make massive cuts to programs for developmentally disabled children (and other vital services that use federal funds). His reason: He expects Trump to cut aid to Arizona by billions. He and Rep. Justin Olson liken it the billions cut from the AZ budget in 2011. That was during the Great Recession! If Trump does this, it’s sabotage by choice not necessity. He has inherited a strong and growing economy that can sustain programs for our most vulnerable.
