I don’t get why people use The Boiling Rock fight to try to knock or downplay Azula. She’s 2v1ing post-dragon Zuko & Sokka who is using his sword to keep Azula on the edge of the gondola and allow Zuko to follow up. Despite this she evades and counters every attack.

This video summarizes my feelings on NATLA Azula’s characterization and why the changes don’t really service her character at all. No hate to Lizzy though she’s gorgeous and clearly talented.

Since that brain numbing discourse is back again; remember that the creators themselves hsve both confirmed Azula is a result of her parentage and that acknowledging this isn’t excusing it !!
