@azulaservant Azula and Aang are by far the most versatile and creative users of their elements by far in the entire series. They use their elements in ways we never seen someone else even come remotely close to.

Its not that its boring its that its destructive and Azula is the eptiome of destruction. Otherwise its a regulated weapon or avoided/tamped down

@Shiritorix94 Zukos bending was extremely proper given not only the gap in skill with azula, but his favor with his father, i would bet he stuck to the basics and drilled them repeatedly. Rather than attempting to emulate his sister to a worse degree

Jeong Jeong fire wall is cool af but no one was moving like that until the last season meanwhile we had Aang, Toph and Katara being goats

Fire bending is very limited and its very rare to even see someone like azula in that element actaully have thier own techniques, because the fact that she's the only one who uses some of these techniques in avater and tlok is a impressive feat in itself

I’d need to think about it more, but I think it comes down to movement? Every other bender kinda moves with their element, but most Firebenders are just doing basic moves with the addition of flames. Azula is stylish with both her flames and her choreography.

The novels are inconsistent and are terribly oversought. Zuko can redirect lightning with ease and can pick apart Azula

The novels are amazingly written and expand the lore, world and characters. What I’ve sent are the comics.

There are some good things but they aren’t consistent. Heck even the boiling rock duel Zuko was even with her. The final agni kai wasn’t even a fight

The Boiling Rock has Azula on the edge of a gondola being 2v1d and zoned by Sokka. During the final Agni kai they’re numerous statements in the show and via commentary that show that Zuko had grown but also that Azula had declined. By the comics she’s rebuilt that gap.

Look at the pure firebending. He’s matching her. Numerous statements implied he needed Katara there, which is exactly what lost him the fight and almost cost him his life. She rebuilt the gap doing what? She’s still insane in those graphic novels and where was Zuko’s growth?

Yes, when she’s lost her mind and already degraded her fighting style. On the gondola neither really had room to do much and it’s just them dodging/blocking each others attacks while Sokka keeps Azula on the edge. Zuko grew in the comics but even he admits Azula is strong.

Azula VAPORIZING Katara’s waterbending will always go hard as fuck. Negating the element that naturally youre weak against? Hell fuckin yeah!!

Out of verse it’s to contrast with Zuko’s Then later in the novels about Avatar Novel we are told that it’s an extremely hard thing to pull off that requires both power and control over one’s chi.

Whoever wrote her bending must have loved her because even as a kid i was like “damn that evil lady’s so cool”. 😩 she just bends with so much POWER like i cant explain it. It feels almost like earthbending??? The way she just moves so deliberately.

more of her bending techniques seems more in tune with airbending with some of others. the fact that she bends constant blue fire is amazing, her fire is hotter than any other
