I have no idea why the Cowboys were in man coverage on that final play. No idea. :07 on the clock. That said, credit a 2X MVP QB throwing a strike to a WR who was a Pro Bowler the last 2 seasons. And Lamar had over 3 seconds to throw.

It was July 9, 5 years ago today, that I threw passes to Luke. 100 degrees-wanted to work on his routes. 3 days later, went into an exam room to find out he had 2-8 weeks to live. Tumors had taken over his body. How he worked so hard on this day, I will never know #LiveLikeLuke

A great example of “always turn your back to the ball carrier.” Miss your block, go to the next level. Especially WRs. When you peel back, typically get called for a block in the back or YOU make the tackle on the runner. Which happens here.
