Needy dog energy? Hey, BabyDogers, and I’ve got 3 steps to help your pup chill out. •Step 1: Stop giving attention every time your dog demands it. •Step 2: Wait for calm. •Step 3: Reward only the calm. Your dog barks, whines, paws at you, or follows you everywhere? If every little demand gets an instant reaction, your pup learns that this is how to get your attention. 👉🏻Here’s the trick: wait for a calm moment, then reward it with praise, cuddles, or a treat. You’re not loving your dog any less. You’re teaching them that they don’t have to demand attention every second to feel safe and loved. Every pup deserves love, patience, and a little help learning to settle down. So give them a chance. And give yourself one, too !🐕💛

Ollie was found soaked in the middle of a typhoon in 2024. His sibling didn't make it through that same storm. He didn't understand why he was suddenly alone. 🐾 We're continuing to share stories from the guests at STRAY-vivor Family Day, and this one stayed with us. A guest told us they weren't even planning to adopt Ollie. The plan was just to foster him until someone else stepped up. But plans don't always work out the way you think they will... P.S. and judging by that bark at the end of the video, Ollie wanted us to let you know: this isn't the whole story 😁 part two is coming.

This is what a rescue actually looks like. Baby Doge and Amantes e Protetores de Animais rescued 12 puppies, pulled from the rubble next to a slaughterhouse in São Paulo, minutes before it could've gone very differently. Today, the team goes back for their mother. More on this story soon.

She wasn't really a dog person. Her own child had to hide two rescued strays in the house just to keep them safe from her. That was the plan that backfired the best way possible ❤️ At STRAY-vivor Family Day, we heard from a mom who now can't leave the house without her dog, and says one hug from him undoes a bad day faster than anything else. 👉 Her advice to anyone considering adoption: only do it if you can actually take care of them. But if you can, there's no shortage of strays out there who need exactly that and who might just change your life for the better 🐾

🐾 She was never supposed to be theirs. She just decided otherwise. Baby Doge sat down with guests at STRAY-vivor Family Day in Manila and heard several stories like this one. 🐶 Meet Mama dog. Her family used to just feed her as a stray, nothing more planned than that. She had a litter of puppies not long after they met her, and somewhere in the middle of showing up with food, day after day, she decided they were hers. A few months later, they made the adoption official. When we asked what she'd tell someone on the fence about adopting, she said you're going to have to deal with your own baggage too, not just the dog's. And that it's worth it anyway, because of what a dog's love actually gives back ❤️ That's the part nobody tells you before you adopt. IT ASKS SOMETHING OF YOU. IT GIVES YOU BACK SO MUCH MORE.

While you were asleep last night, our partners at HappyTails were out in the rain, searching abandoned ruins with a flashlight. ➡️ This is what a rescue mission actually looks like. Not a finished story with a happy ending already attached, the unglamorous middle: night searches, soaked fur, a field exam done right there on the street because the dog can't wait until morning. No cameras rolling for an audience. No one clapping. Just people who decided a scared, wet dog was worth finding at 2am. These are the heroes Baby Doge works with 🐾

This is who's genuinely ready for Monday, as long as there's a clicky pen to grab with full enthusiasm 😂 ➡️ Meet Mylo: a 6.5 year old Border Collie/Kelpie mix with a big heart, big energy, and one very specific weakness. Clicky pens... He's whip smart, endlessly loyal, and once his energy's out, he turns into the softest snuggle buddy. He'll even hook your hand with his paw if you stop the belly rubs too soon. Baby Doge has been funding shelters and rescues, including our partner PawswithCause, since day one, because dogs like Mylo deserve real, forever homes. Want to know more or meet him? 🐶🐾 NATIONAL DOG DAY A day for every breed, every background, every dog who's ever done something for us, service dogs, police dogs, search and rescue, and the one asleep on your couch right now. Here's what we keep coming back to: a dog doesn't need much. Food, a roof, sure. But mostly, it needs 👉 YOU. Your attention. Your presence. Dogs love with a kind of loyalty most people can't manage for anyone. And that love comes with a responsibility we don't get to walk away from. At STRAY-vivor Family Day, Atty. Anna Cabrera put it in a way we haven't stopped thinking about: a stray isn't a stray because something's wrong with it. It's a stray because a person walked away. So today is a reminder on two fronts: give a second chance to the dogs still waiting for one, and actually show up for the dog already waiting for you at home ❤️

Some of these dogs once slept on the streets of Manila. Then one day, they walked into an activity center on a leash, beside someone who had chosen them. 🐾 59 dogs. Every one of them a former stray. Every one of them now home. This was STRAY-vivor Family Day, hosted by Baby Doge and PAWS Philippines in celebration of International Homeless Animals’ Day. ➡️ More than 600 people came through the doors. Jodi Sta. Maria shared the story of Putol, a stray who used to show up at her house. One day, she drove away and he ran after the car. He just wouldn’t stop. He’s hers now. Or maybe she’s his. Depends who you ask. Atty. Anna Cabrera, Executive Director of PAWS, put it simply: stray animals are the ones people failed. Rescuers and adopters are the ones who choose to make things right. Nikki Abad spoke about what one adoption can set in motion. A neighbour asks about the dog. A friend comes to visit. And somewhere down the line, another animal gets a chance. ➡️ Together, we brought more than 5,000 bowls of food to PAWS Philippines. ➡️ 18 creators joined us, reaching more than 13 million people altogether. But numbers only tell part of the story. The real story was in the wagging tails, the nervous first steps, the families who showed up, and the dogs who finally got a day that was all about them. There were even pet communicators on site, translating what the dogs had apparently been trying to say all along: 90% love 10% “where are my treats?” 😏 THIS WAS THE BIGGEST EVENT Baby Doge HAS ORGANISED IN THE PHILIPPINES SO FAR. And it won’t be the last 🐶🐾

Behind every game was a serious reason we all gathered in one place. Talking about stray overpopulation for twenty minutes loses a room fast. Handing someone a game, a prize, a reason to laugh, that keeps them in the room long enough to actually hear it. Scale like this only happens when everyone commits to the same mission. Baby Doge and PAWS Philippines built a day full of fun, while still carrying a message that actually matters: ADOPTION, AND TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DOG POPULATION. 👉 Easy doesn't mean unserious. Sometimes easy is just the door people are actually willing to walk through.

They said she might never walk again 🐶 Happy Tails refused to give up on her. The right care, delivered at the right time by people who truly believed in her, changed everything. 🐾 Today, she isn't just walking. She's running, playing, living the life she always deserved. HER STORY IS PROOF: a hard diagnosis doesn't have to be the end. Sometimes it's just the beginning of a real comeback. There are shelters around the world holding over 200 million stray dogs, and every one of them is waiting for someone to believe in them. 👉 Support the rescuers. Share their stories. Help another dog get the chance to run again. Together with Happy Tails, BabyDoge will keep fighting for every life we can change.

Meet one of the dogs from a shelter we've gotten to know: three legs, and not the slightest idea that's supposed to slow her down. 🐾 He goes to the beach. He's happy. This is part of why we keep showing up at shelters across the Philippines, not to feel good about ourselves, but because every dog here has a story like hers, and most of them never get told. Over 13 million stray animals call this country home. That's why the Philippines is one of the places where Baby Doge is putting in the work, and where we're choosing to focus our attention.
