One of the best things we’ve done for our kids is force them out of their physical comfort zones. Lots of whining and crying to get here. The effort will pay off with more than physical achievement. (Will rode 15 miles on this ride. He’s got cerebral palsy, an AFO brace, and zero excuses.)

Some people might find they love this lifestyle enough to make it permanent. Fairly typical day today: - worked from 8-2 - ate lunch - rode my mtn bike from 2:45-5:15 There are trade offs to this life, though. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’ll never build an empire - I’m okay with that.

Will only started walking normally in the last few months, after surgery, a ton of PT, and help of a brace. We encouraged him to do track camp, knowing it would be challenging, but that he could do it. Seeing your kid overcome challenges is one of the best feelings around.
