Beebow has been subjected to severe physical and psychological torture and is currently on a hunger strike in jail. She has been transferred to Pishin Jail, where she is being held under distressing conditions, including constant surveillance with CCTV cameras in her room.

Beebow has been in a Pakistani prison since March 22, 2025. She went on a hunger strike after being tortured and illegally transferred from Huda Jail in Quetta to Pishin Jail. Her health has been very poor, especially over the last three days. She hasn’t eaten for several days and hasn’t had water in the last two days. Her blood pressure was dangerously high, she was vomiting blood, and it wasn’t being treated properly. Authorities told her she would be taken to BMC or Civil Hospital, and she asked to inform her lawyer first. They refused and instead took her to CMH, where blood was forcefully taken from her. After that, the hospital staff left, and ISI officers came in. They blindfolded her, tortured her for around five hours. Assistant Commissioner Quetta Captain Retired Abdullah bin Arif was present during this time. He is the same person who had previously arrested Mahrang and Beebow during a protest.Then they sent her back to Huda Jail around 4 a.m. on May 3.
