103-year-old World War II veteran Cpl. Wilbur J. “Jack” Myers, a Williamsport native, sings the national anthem at Camden Yards as part of the Orioles’ America 250 celebration on Saturday. Myers served as a corporal gunner in the U.S. Army’s 692nd Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. He flawlessly delivered “The Star-Spangled Banner” and celebrated after by dancing with his family while Orioles fans gave him a standing ovation.

More than 200 dirt bikers were riding dangerously near a Hip Hop Fish & Chicken in Northwest Baltimore Sunday night, Baltimore Police said. Around 7:19 p.m. on June 28, officers were called to the 3100 block of Reisterstown Road, located in the city’s Liberty Square neighborhood, for dirt bike activity. When officers arrived, they found more than 200 dirt bikers riding dangerously, according to authorities. As police approached the group, the dirt bikers started to surround the officers. There is a new spring sport taking hold across Baltimore-area high schools. It does not have officials. It does not have a rulebook that anyone can fully explain. It does, however, have rankings, rosters, playoff byes, cheating accusations and at least one controversy involving Hey Dude shoes. It’s hacky sack. Students have turned a lunch-period pastime into something resembling a sport. They stand in circles outside school, keep a small beaded ball alive with their feet, post the best clips to Instagram and argue over which school has the best “sack” program. Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins surprised a high school senior, Jackson, ahead of his senior prom. The soon-to-be Kenwood graduate was blindsided by Nate's guest appearance, which was facilitated by Jackson's mom. Orioles fans at Camden Yards boo Craig Kimbrel as he enters the game for the Rays. Kimbrel, the Orioles’ closer in 2024 before he was cut in September of that season, pitched at Camden Yards on Tuesday for only the second time since departing Baltimore.
