Today, I’m demanding answers for my fellow Rwandan, Jean de Dieu Ihorahabona. On Feb 1, 2026, Ihorahabona vanished while going to visit his child at school. For those who don't know him: his house in #Kangondo & Kibirara was destroyed without fair compensation. He fought the City of Kigali in court for 8 years and WON. Despite his legal victory, he was never paid. Now, he is missing. How does a person disappear in a country that claims "total security" like #Rwanda? To those attacking me for "hating the country", like RBA’s Ingabire Egidie Bibio : as a journalist, why don't you help us ask where our fellow citizen is? Your silence speaks volumes. Minister UTUMATWISHIMA : You called my claims a lie. If you are telling the truth, prove it. Show us that this father is safe with his family right now. Stop the rhetoric, show us the man. Yesterday, I saw a video of those Banyamulenge and Rwandan women rehearsing their performance for D.C., but I didn’t believe they’d actually go through with it until today. I want to ask President Paul Kagame even if you’re uneducated, can’t you at least use some common sense? Do you honestly think paying these women to cry and claim the Congolese government is killing Banyamulenge will erase the satellite imagery proving you are the one killing them? Does it change the fact that you signed off on the invasion of Congo? Having you as President is a disgrace to every Rwandan. #ThisIsBadRama #HumanRightsDefender
