Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album is pure New Jack Swing. Nothing was watered down. “Can’t Let Her Get Away” is one of his hardest-hitting cuts. Soul Train lines were literally done to this in 1991-92.

People were in such an uproar over Michael Jackson grabbing his crotch and smashing windows in the “Black or White” Panther Dance that they missed the point: he was expressing his frustration with injustice, prejudice, and bigotry through movement.
