Yo, am I doing something wrong or is this 74 Perimeter Defense penalty? I'm out here getting sprayed.😂 I think shot contest/hands up animations need an upgrade. Because its virtually nothing else I can do...(besides perfectly timing a jump I guess) I'm in front actively playing defense on both shots. If its just a low perimeter thing then ill accept it. But I'm 6'8 and cats shooting over me like I'm 6'2. #NBA2K26

🧪 Change of pace will get you anywhere as a guard. Don't have to come down and hit 5 escapes and snatch backs every time to get to a bucket. Once you understand the left stick and pace you will gain a new appreciation for dribble styles. #NBA2K26

96 Speed With Ball + Blowout dribble still gets chased down by 6'11 with 87 speed? I think for some animations, the transition between running and the gather doesn't carry momentum. You basically hit a wall before going into the layup. Real issue that needs a fix or am I bugging? #NBA2K26

If I'm in the wrong here let me know...but wtf is going on with layups this year? I can't comfortably make a fast break layup (with an 85 rating by the way). Trailing defender consistently knocks me out of my animation. Why is this a stop as opposed to a foul? Are these bad takes? (One gets a "good shot selection", the other somehow gets a "bad shot selection") It's nearly impossible to compensate for this timing wise (in my opinion) because you just dont know or expect its gonna happen. If I'm being unreasonable let me know. I feel like I got hoed out of 4 easy points. #NBA2K25

What do you all think about this? I think this is what makes layups feel so risky at times...because there's almost no penalty for sloppy interior defense. Defender isn't even positioned properly to contest the layup. I think a part of the solution is to speed up some of these lay up animations or just call more fouls on out of position block attempts. If im tripping let me know. #NBA2K25
