As time passed, the kidnappers decreased their demands to ₦15 million and 50 Army uniforms before suddenly cutting off all communication. Since then, we have had no news about my father's whereabouts. The kidnapping left my family devastated. My siblings and I had to stop going to school, while my mother struggled to keep us together. We have also been unable to access my father's money because his ATM card expired, and every attempt to recover his SIM card or access his account has failed.
