Seeing a lot of misinformation about me and Jeff Dye. Who fired the first shot? My agents and representatives advised me to make a statement. It all started when I stumbled across his comical observations (shoutout to the algorithm). From my perspective, Jeff was a rabble rouser. A silly goose with a flair for the edgy, like myself. And yes, perhaps, I retweeted him too sycophantically, but I never spoke publicly on his trade. Not a word. Suddenly, he attacked me on his Instagram live (where he has 2 million plus followers) saying I was attacking him? I was incredulous. I ran the screen recording through my ai detection systems, but it was verifiably true. And much like in his heckler takedown videos, he showed me no mercy. I poured over hours of his podcast and discovered he names past friends of his, rates private moments with celebrities and attacks them, reads private texts from friends and shits on them, says they’re “fake friends”, shits on his peers and names them by name (Marc Maron, Steph Tolev, Ron Funches, etc) and says he’s the only comic who’s not afraid to tell the truth. He truly is the last cowboy in LA. I sought the refuge of my dear friends, Devan and Jace, but nothing could console me. My agents called me. My wife and I entered couple's counseling. Jeff was all I could talk about. My wife is staying at her parents for now and I see the kids a few times a week. We go to the park. We go get pizza. We go to the museum. But all I can think about is that my favorite comic in Los Angeles hates my stinking guts. It hurts to watch his comedy now, whether its a quick-witted appearance on Gutfield or the satirical mockumentaries with Denis Prager (if you haven't checked his stuff out, highly recommended, its like Christopher Guest without the liberal snobbery). I used to have a simple life: I see Jeff Dye. I click. Why? Because I was a fan! Only to find out the guy just pushes everyone away. My team made me aware that Jeff will be on the popular live show, After Tonight, hosted by Tommy and Mark, this evening. I'm not asking for Jeff to forgive my wickedness, my iniquities, for I was provoked, and some things perhaps cannot be unsaid. I just hope he finds some peace.
