Achieved in January 2025, this highway is comprised of 3 sections. • Section 1 : Tiznit - Guelmim (115km): Dual carriage (2x2 lanes), with two-level interchanges. • Section 2: Guelmim - Laayoune (435km): Dual carriage (2x2 lanes), but with at-grade intersections instead of full interchanges, bypassing major towns. • Section 3: Laayoune - Dakhla (490km): Single carriage (2x1 lanes), with at-grade intersections. Maximum allowed speed for the entire highway: 100 km/h.

La tempête Leonardo a créé un enfer pour les passagers du vol Ryanair FR5539 entre Valence et Tanger ce 5 février. Ayant décollé de Valence à 9h35, ils ne sont arrivés à Tanger qu’à 19h25, après 5h33 de vol, et 2 longes escales à Rabat et Marrakech, pour un vol direct censé prendre 1 heure. - Le vol Valence-Tanger a été dérouté vers Rabat après être incapable d’atterrir à Tanger. - Le vol censé relier Rabat à Tanger a passé 50 minutes à survoler Tanger, avant de renoncer à y atterrir une nouvelle fois. Celui-ci a été déroute cette fois-ci vers Marrakech. - Le vol entre Marrakech et Tanger est bien arrivé à 19h25, ce qui fait un retard de 9h30.
