Messi scores a golazo and then asks an Orlando coach if he wants his autograph. Incredible rivalry. Elite trash talking. Inject this into my veins.

Here at Geodis Park for Nashville’s US Open Cup championship party, and this crowd is unreal! Fantastic turnout for the first trophy in club history.

a) this might be the hardest I've ever seen a human being strike a soccer ball b) this all starts with Talles Magno dropping into midfield and creating space for Malachi Jones to stretch the defense c) watching games on a baseball field is bad viewing

I mean, who goes to one of the two biggest clubs in North America in a semifinal and absolutely embarrasses them with the ball?

Nashville got absolutely bombarded coming off the field. Gary Smith took his time celebrating on the way out. This is unreal. #EveryoneN

I certainly didn't have Timothée Chalamet dapping up Alex Muyl on Theo Von's podcast on my 2024 bingo card. "Alex Muyl is a foot Mozart."

🟡 15-yr-old Nashville SC winger Liam Stribling starts and scores in the MLS NEXT All-Star game (up 3-0 inside 12 minutes). A USMNT U16 international, he's the most highly-rated prospect in the academy. One to watch as a likely homegrown signing.

BJ Callaghan confirms that Reed Baler-Whiting and Warren Madrigal are available. Elias Saad has his visa and is ready to play. Cristian Espinoza is not quite available, but he’s not far away.

A few thoughts on Flo Balogun’s red card and the process to suspend his red card suspension against Belgium tomorrow. Ultimately the right outcome for him to play, but bad process and even worse optics.

Wild USL Championship debut for former Nashville striker Forster Ajago. Kicks Louisville's Aiden McFadden in the face, gets a straight red card, and then has to be dragged down the tunnel by his teammates while screaming for VAR. USL doesn't have VAR.

🥔 Incredible quote from Eddi Tagseth on Yazbek: "He's probably the biggest potato I've seen. As we say in Norway, a guy who can do everything – you can use a potato for everything."

This is a brilliant pass from Corcoran and even better defending from Mbokazi.

This is such a well-worked goal from Nashville. Won back possession, immediately forced Chicago to drop their line, and pulled them apart with 17 passes. Exceptional stuff.
