It was the most-vicious playoff series of my 17 seasons covering the Leafs for The FAN-590. Scott Oake did interviews on the ice with Alyn McCauley, Gary Roberts, Curtis Joseph and Bryan McCabe. Bob Cole and Harry Neale called the series on #CBC. This #Toronto team had loads of character. If healthy, it could have won the #StanleyCup. Instead , Leafs lost to #Carolina in six games of the Cup semifinals. #LeafsForever

Here’s the TV segment from #CBC. Harry Neale does most of the talking and was surprised, at first, like everyone in the arena but Scott Stevens, who saw the cheap shot. He was in the penalty box below my press location and was romping around like a caged animal. We soon understood why. #LeafsForever
