The double standard is impossible to ignore. Burning the Australian flag is framed as “expression,” yet doing the same to other symbols is suddenly unacceptable. When people aren’t capable of holding a rational conversation about what’s actually happening, they don’t argue ideas… they resort to intimidation, destruction and aggression. Since posting about the IDF bulldozing Australian graves, I’ve been inundated with the usual “you’re antisemitic” and “remember Islam is the real issue” responses. It is worth asking, how is it acceptable for people to condemn an entire religion, yet any criticism of a government or military action instantly gets labelled as hate? Criticising governments and military decisions isn’t racism. It isn’t religious hatred. It’s part of public discourse in a free society. If that double standard makes people uncomfortable, maybe the conversation needs to happen.

Let’s stop the bullshit. Criticising a government is NOT hatred toward a religion and if you deliberately blur that line, you’re not defending people… you’re shutting down debate. Blanket hatred toward ANY group is weak but selective outrage and picking who is allowed to be criticised is just coward behaviour dressed up as morality.
