Seed oils are not the reason you can’t shop on Black Friday 😂 Fear-based nutrition loves to make canola oil sound like instant poison. But when you swap saturated fat (like butter) for seed oils on a 1:1 calorie basis, the research actually shows improved health outcomes (keep reading below) And since it is Black Friday — I’ve got big evidence-based discounts on all my stuff:

🚨 The raw milk trend is getting people killed. A Florida woman lost her baby and nearly died after being infected by E. coli traced to raw milk from a local dairy. She didn’t even drink it — she just cared for her sick toddler who did. This isn’t a one-off. Florida’s Department of Health has linked 21 illnesses to that same raw milk since January, including multiple kids. Let’s be clear: 🥛 Pasteurization isn’t some evil “chemical” process. It’s literally just heating milk enough to kill bacteria like E. coli, Listeria, and Salmonella. The worst thing pasteurization does is reduce some vitamin content of milk (PMID: 22054181) but most of these vitamins were relatively low to begin with & if you are worried just take a multi-vitamin… it’s not worth potentially freaking dying People claiming “raw milk is healthier” are ignoring decades of research showing no proven health benefit—just a much higher risk of foodborne illness, miscarriage, and even death. Even the FDA and CDC have been warning about this for years (PMIDs: 27340300). Raw milk is NOT a health food… it’s a possible death food. And now you have raw food advocates talking about heating raw milk to kill bacteria… which is literally pasteurization but they are too stupid and ignorant of the process to realize it. At this point, maybe we should chalk this up to natural selection for people stupid enough to do it… but just because you are an idiot doesn’t mean you should put your kids in harms way

Diet soda makes you fat because it has chemicals that your body doesn’t know how to ‘process’? 🤣 Actually diet soda sweetened with say aspartame is processed into aspartate and phenylalanine (2 amino acids found in every source of protein & in way higher amounts) and methanol 😱. Before yall get your panties in a twist, the amount of methanol produced by diet sodas relative to what would cause issues would mean you’d need to drink approx 20,000 12 oz cans of Diet Coke to cause problems. And no, methanol does not accumulate in the body & it is metabolized by the liver & excreted by the kidneys. You’d die of fluid toxicity before you’d ever even come close to the level of methanol needed to cause any issues from drinking diet soda 🤷🏼‍♂️ So yea, our body knows what to do with it. But her claim doesn’t even make sense. If the body didn’t know what to do with it, how would it get stored as fat? And WHAT would get stored as fat? Which ‘chemicals’ and HOW EXACTLY THROUGH WHAT MECHANISM? 🤣 Maybe she’d say they cause insulin release which makes you fat… only one problem with that… they conclusively DO NOT increase insulin (PMID: 36839408) And diet drinks do NOT make you fat. In fact, in the HUMAN. RANDOMIZED. CONTROLLED. TRIALS where they have people drink diet drinks in place of regular sugar sweetened beverages, people lose weight, & in several studies they actually lose more weight than people who substituted water 🤷🏼‍♂️ (PMIDs: 37794246, 37475684, 26708700, & 35285920) I’m not saying you should drink diet soda in place of water. What I’m saying is for many people, diet drinks help them stop drinking regular soda, which in turn helps them lose weight, & get healthier If we fear monger this useful tool, it confuses people & the unintended consequence is many people takeaway not that they will drink more water, but they should not drink diet soda so they might as well continue drinking regular soda since diet soda is portrayed as just as bad by these influencers Also no one tell this gal water has dihydrogen monoxide 🤣. I don’t know her name… y’all tag her 🤷🏼‍♂️ DATA>feelings

This is the MOST HEATED I’VE EVER BEEN ON A VIDEO 😤 “Calories in calories out doesn’t work for everyone!” YES IT F***ING DOES! STOP DISEMPOWERING PEOPLE! This segment on Oprah Winfrey made me absolutely heated. First off let’s get rid of this idea that calories in calories out doesn’t work for obese people. ABSOLUTE NONSENSE. When obese people eat in a calorie deficit THEY LOSE WEIGHT IN THE HUMAN RANDOMIZED CONTROL TRIALS (PMIDs: 28329121, 2407096, & 26775902) Obese people do NOT have slower metabolisms than lean people when equated for BMR (if anything they are slightly faster). This is true for women & men & those who are obese with & without Type 2 diabetes ) (PMID: 1556954, 18223609, & 26838741) Now I’m NOT saying obesity is all the fault of the individual. It is not. Research shows that women who are obese have a 50% greater rate of past sexual assault trauma (PMID: 17606550) Moreover if calories in calories out didn’t work how do you explain semiglutide results and GLP-1 mimetics? They do NOT increase metabolic rate. Their effect is on APPETITE! Telling someone that calories in vs calories out doesn’t work for them might make their ego feel better in the short term but you are DISEMPOWERING THESE PEOPLE! They hear this and think “even if I try it won’t work.” BULLSHIT. Weight loss in the long term is hard. But hard is NOT the same thing as impossible. Please explain people like Ethan Suplee who lost over 300 lbs and kept if off?! STOP with these doctors and psychologists talking about sh*t they have no clue about! It’s ABSURD!

Remember when Paul Saladino said protein powder was “BS” and “not ancestral”? Now he’s selling whey protein powder… complete with colostrum, collagen, and—wait for it—an autographed frother. Because apparently nothing screams “ancestral living” like a signed milk-foam machine. 🥴 And he’s calling it “undenatured whey.” Spoiler: that phrase means absolutely nothing. All commercial whey is already “undenatured.” Even if it weren’t, denaturation is a natural and necessary process—it’s literally what happens when your stomach digests protein. Bragging about “undenatured whey” is like bragging your ice is “wet.” The irony? This is the same guy who’s preached for years to avoid processed foods and claimed protein powder is BS. Now he’s selling one of the most processed supplements on the market. Science didn’t change. His business model did. Oh and adding colostrum? Completely superfluous. Colostrum doens’t do anything that regular whey protein doesn’t do other than drain your wallet, Paul’s favorite pastime. 📚 Evidence (real science, not marketing): •Tang et al., 2009 – Whey > casein/soy for muscle protein synthesis (PMID: 19589961) •Morton et al., 2018 – Meta-analysis: protein supplementation improves training gains (PMID: 28698222) •Phillips, 2016 – Protein quality matters; whey supports growth & recovery (PMID: 27529274) So yeah… welcome to Team Whey, Paul. Took you long enough—and thanks for the autograph, I’ll treasure my frother forever. ☕😂
