been watching uconn women’s basketball for a looooooong time, and i’ll tell you this i’ve only seen geno auriemma talk this way about a select few players in the program’s history. got a feeling we are on the verge of witnessing something extremely special with the development of sarah strong. with players like her being good is one thing, but we you finally realize how good you are yourself that’s when it gets dangerous. i said last season once sarah strong figured out how good she was it was gonna be a wrap. like once she figures out she’s at the top of the food chain… godspeed.

• pretty crazy how much UConn needing Azzi Fudd was downplayed last season, just for her to go on and not only win most outstanding player of the 2025 NCAA Final Four, but to also be a crucial piece to UConn securing their 12th national championship. 🏆x12 • before entering her last campaign at UConn, we look back at her season highlights, and parts of her earlier career journey FRIDAY. 👸🏽📆🎥🍿
