Captain Fazal Ghani Mian passed away on the 29th of October, 2021, in Islamabad. In a series of interviews conducted by Saima Shabbir for Arab News, his loved ones and colleagues shared heartfelt memories: - "My father was a patriotic Pakistani who cherished both Emirates and PIA until his last breath. He envisioned a bright future for PIA and considered it a venerable institution," said his daughter, Lubna Ghani Hayauddin. - Reflecting on their marriage in 1962, his wife, Touhida Ghani, recalled, "I was fortunate to be his spouse. He was a kind-hearted man who balanced his dedication to work with his commitment to family. He guided me through life's journey and epitomized the essence of family life. Despite tempting job offers from Emirates, he remained loyal to PIA, keeping Pakistan as his anchor." - Captain Kamal Al-Karimi, who shared 35 years of camaraderie with Captain Mian, described him as "a devoted Pakistani, a true friend, and a passionate professional."
