After three months of seeing people on here treat bisexuality as a curiosity to indulge themselves, I was pleasantly surprised to see Benedict not only come out to Sophie but also make no apologies for his sexual identity. Bridgerton could’ve easily waved it away, so kudos.

With respect, he needed another take because…whew, my God.

“…And I’m just happy to be at the table.” And I’ll be happy when Carrie Coon walks on stage in September to collect her (long overdue) Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for The White Lotus. A stunning monologue that reaffirmed her status as the queen of HBO.

One more: I loved the Cheesecake episode bc it was one of the few Chandler/Rachel plots, and given what we now know behind the scenes (Jennifer Aniston reaching out during Matthew Perry’s addiction troubles), it makes the episode especially poignant, but still hilarious.

It’s impossible to pick from 10 seasons, but I keep going back to Chandler and Monica’s proposal as Matthew Perry’s finest moment on Friends because of how deeply felt his performance is. Yes, Perry was a sarcasm god, but his sincerity and sensitivity shines brightly here.

In a follow-up response to Demi Moore answering a question about AI in film, Paul Laverty calls for transparency and who is owning and disseminating AI and algorithms, insisting that tech bros and billionaires shouldn’t be allowed to dictate our lives without proper oversight.

Cinderella and Prince Charming’s meeting at the ball is one of Disney’s (few) finest live-action remake moments. The dress, Charming’s dorky awkward laugh (Richard Madden’s finest moment on film), Lily James’s soft gasp, *the* dress…Kenneth Branagh did the big one.

I mean…it’s all laid out here in black and sepia in one of the year’s best scenes.

This scene will likely be his Oscar clip if Charles Melton is nominated. Everything in May December leads to this, a barely-contained meltdown where Joe realizes his whole life has been a twisted, manipulation. And Julianne Moore is magnificent exposing Gracie’s true cunning.

Anne Hathaway is astonishingly great in The Idea of You, and this scene shows why. You see how Solène recounting her failed marriage still eats at her, and Hathaway conveys her sadness, disgust, weariness, and resignation beautifully with tiny reactions that feel so lived-in.

Another classic Chandler Bing moment: when Chandler and Phoebe try to out-game each other and he admits he’s in love with Monica. I think it’s easy to forget how thoughtfully Matthew Perry balanced his trademark sarcasm with real sweetness. He was a master of that sitcom comedy.

Speaking as someone who said these words almost verbatim five years ago after my DKA, Noah Wyle’s performance hit bone-deep. He captures the fear of the ideation’s so clearly, beautifully, the point when you’re wavering and could go either way. It’s overwhelming. He’s sublime.

For most actors, this would be their Emmy clip. For Noah Wyle, I don’t think this is even his best moment in the finale. He’s operating on another level with The Pitt, beautifully conveying naked vulnerability through leadership. I’m so thrilled he’s having this moment.

As I said, one of the best medical drama performances and one of the best emotional breakdowns I’ve ever seen. Noah Wyle has been world-class all season on The Pitt, but this is on another level. Searing, gutting work off a raw and rich script. The Emmys are Emmy-ing.
