...another morning in Ukraine, and once again, it is neither peaceful nor bright. Once again, we wake up exhausted, learning the names of the Ukrainians who were killed. What else is left for us, the civilians of this country, but to hide at night when cities face mass attacks… In Kyiv, during air raid alerts, crowds of people, along with their children and pets-seek refuge in metro stations that serve as bomb shelters. But in other cities like mine, you simply stay in your apartment, hoping for the best. Some people underground are watching the events above ground through their phones, others are seeing the destruction from their windows. But morning has finally arrived, and it's impossible not to be grateful for it-it's just heartbreaking that this morning hasn't arrived for everyone. Is there any point in repeating "fucking russia" for the millionth time, does it even make any sense anymore...

It’s just some kind of insane hatred toward the Ukrainian people. What did my people, what did Ukrainians ordinary Ukrainians, people, children, do so wrong to this world to have to live a part of their lives like this?! What did the person who left this life do wrong… no, they didn't leave it, they were killed by the russians, for what the fuck? What did an elderly woman do wrong, a Ukrainian woman who was buried alive in her own room because of russian shelling? I just look at all of this and my brain cannot find an explanation for this worldwide madhouse called human LIFE. Some kill with impunity, others become victims and resist with all their strength and ability, and others just watch… damn, is this a theater… or a fucking play? I simply refuse to accept everything I've seen over many years as human life. This is some kind of psychopath's dream.

No, this is not a nuclear explosion. The rest of the world can still sleep and live in peace. This is just another night in Ukraine, the view from the window of an ordinary Kyiv resident. You watch this through your phone screens, while we watch it from the windows of our own homes. This is just a fragment of the nightly madness that russia allows itself to unleash on the territory of my country. A shard torn out of the lives of Ukrainians. Yes, people died again tonight. Yes, there are wounded. Yes, there was another swarm of attack drones and missiles. It continues, and it feels as though no one can do anything about it.

No matter how much anyone hypes up the general impression of my people's bravery, here in Ukraine, everyone has their limit. Elderly women… are forced to simply hide under the table in their own homes after yet another heavy russian shelling. Yes… this is a simple village with private houses, and each of you can see the standard of living of these people for yourself. The strong must protect the weak, and in Ukraine, this is taught from childhood. But not everyone in this world possesses human qualities, which is why we live the way the situation looks today. All that is left, at least in this case with the elderly women, is to simply hide under the table, because they don't have a bunker like the one putin loves to sit in - that very spineless organism because of whom all of this is happening in my country.

Due to a missile attack, parts of Kyiv and the surrounding region are plunged into darkness. Ukrainians say: 'We won’t see light in our homes today, but the light in our hearts will never go out! Children warm themselves by bonfires because there is no heating at home. We are huddling together with neighbors, facing another difficult winter together!' The whole scene looks like something out of an apocalyptic movie where the world has descended into darkness... just like in those films. But this isn't a movie, and these people aren't actors-they are ordinary residents of my country's capital. No matter how much I admire the people of Kyiv, this video creates an atmosphere of despair. Winter has only just begun, yet we are already facing such circumstances because of the russians-who claim to want 'peace' but they do everything possible to make sure that in response we send them to hell!

This damn war… these damn times… That’s exactly how I want to start, looking at all of this from the courtyard of my own home. I don’t really like posting videos or messages like this, but this is the other side of heroism in my country, in Ukraine. The sounds of the national anthem are echoing through our courtyards more and more often. You’ve known someone for a part of your life, and then, suddenly, they are on their final journey. Beside them are relatives, friends, loved ones, and neighbors, seeing them off to a place where, as each of us hopes, things are finally better than they are here. This is the silent pain of the Ukrainian people. It doesn’t seek the spotlight because it is deeply personal. But the world must see not only the brave soldiers who continue to defense of one's own country country, but also those who did everything humanly possible to give the future a chance to live on-without a russian boot on our land.

Right now, I don’t have the words to describe what I’m seeing... it happens far too often and is far too inhumane toward Ukrainians. These residents of Odesa pose no threat to anyone in this world, but the russians see the world very differently than we do. To them, everyone is an enemy and everyone around them is evil. These are residential neighborhoods burning, the homes of peaceful people... but you already understood that without my words; tonight, the russians have once again taken Ukrainian lives. And those who survived have been left homeless. Many houses were destroyed, damaged, or burned down.

In Alaska, where the war in Ukraine seems like a distant thing, people have taken to the streets. And it's incredibly important that this is happening exactly today, on the very day putin is there! In my opinion, this is a real gut punch to his dictatorship! This is such a powerful signal of support for us Ukrainians and a clear message to everyone who thinks the world will forget about the horrors russia is committing. Nobody has forgotten! And people all over the world are showing it!

Under one of my posts some Russian woman wrote to me: ...what war, stop lying! You Ukrainians live, go to cafes, go to work, walk in your parks. You don't have any war, stop this nonsense, we are fed up! ... I am getting harder and more bitter to realize that there are people, and there are many of them, who see everything, know everything, but continue not to see the horror and pain in all this! We are coming from the city of Kostiantynivka. There is heavy shelling there now; it is very terrifying. Houses are burning, russian they are dropping aerial bombs on the city and the surrounding areas, and using everything else they can to cause harm... we decided to leave the city for good, as there is nothing left there. We also have health issues and need to get to a hospital, which is where we are headed now. We lived in Kostiantynivka our whole lives. When we realized we had to get out of the city, we took our bicycles and set off through dangerous districts and zones at our own peril. Everything we managed to take with us-everything that survived, is on our bikes. Our parents' houses burned down, and our own house is half-burned; we had to put the fire out ourselves. We are in a heavy state right now, both mentally and physically. And our son died-our only child. He looked after us, helped us, and used to cycle to the one remaining shop; he was killed on his way home. We buried him five months ago in our own yard, near the apple tree. In the city and the surrounding areas, civilians are burying their relatives and neighbors right next to their homes. We are walking... and we can hear drones flying behind us. We are walking now with the hope of reaching the evacuation points.
