This is a major WTF moment. The media is reporting that in Ocean Beach, San Diego, a father "heroically" fought off a man trying to kidnap his little boy, 8. The reporter says it happened as the family ate dinner outside their new deli on Newport Avenue. Some random guy grabbed the boy and tried to drag him away... when the father and Good Samaritans intervened. We've watched this repeatedly - and it's tough to argue the dad acted "heroically".
