Finally got Sonics hands working and most of the camera issues working in the Sonic Adventure VR mod! My son is playing right now and just did a boss battle and loves it already. I need to fix Sonics open hand pose but not a terrible job with setting the poses in blender 😅

I bet you can't guess what I almost have running standalone on Quest 3 👀. I mean it's running in the sense I loads into VR I just have a lot of fixes to do to get movement working and make it playable.

Now this is truly what Pokémon VR could be. I'm super proud of this even if it's a bit rough and not finished. This is the culmination of everything I've learned so far with voice commands, a custom animation, lots of effects and scripting. I would play the heck out of this game.

I thought about buying an Xbox for Indiana Jones...but then I realized I already owned an "Xbox" sort of. Playing Gamepass on the Quest 3 has gotten so good. Plus I can play with my PS5 controller which I prefer. Zero noticable latency. 🤯

To be honest I never played Titanfall 2 but holy crap I'm glad I didn't. My first time experiencing the game in the new Titanfall 2 VR mod is blowing my mind. It feels legit like a native VR game and I'm so excited to play through the entire thing.

Ok so Sonic Adventure VR is really coming along now. It's feeling really good. I also was able to make it so that you can toggle VR loops when you loop as sonic so the camera actually follows the loop instead of staying locked horizontally. Thanks to a suggestion on Reddit to have the game world itself rotate instead of sonic and that actually feels pretty comfortable.

I had a lot of fun playing with the steam frame, especially Half-Life Alyx Standalone but you want to know something insane... I got Half-Life Alyx running Standalone on the Quest 3... Still needs a lot of optimization and a lot of work but watch out later this week for more info. This is all done with the same AI modding tools that I've been using. It's insane. Still requires you to own Half-Life Alyx and it requires the files from the steam frame branch of the game.

Still needs a ton of work but it blows my mind Half-Life Alyx is running standalone on the Quest 3 and actually doesn't look half bad. Once I've got the frame rate more stable, getting better all the time, I'm going to test ASW and also up the resolution some.

Haven't had much time to work on the mod but Max Payne in VR standalone on Quest 3 already feels pretty amazing. This is just the tutorial level but the baked lighting looks really good on Quest. Frame rate is solid so far too and bullet time is awesome. Now I just need some hands and two handed gunplay and I'll try an actual level 😅.

Alright so the visuals look much better now that the rendering is fixed properly for the MOH Allied Assault Mod. I will experiment with some visual mods later to see if they work. For now I'm working on fixing the gun behavior and making sure that aiming feels good. Then we will see if we can get two handed aiming working.

This is unfreaking believable. I feel like I just ran through a real forest. By far the most realistic forest I've ever seen in VR. This 4090 is already doing wonders teamed up with UEVR and UE5.
