Some are still upset that Purdue didn’t win a game on November 7th by more points. Me? I’m still pissed off this didn’t count as Braden Smith’s 10th assist. From what should be a pro-Purdue scorekeeper at home, no less. If you disagree, that’s fine, but tell me what Loyer does differently here than when he received that behind-the-head dime from Smith in the 1st half. Both his layups came within a second of one another.

Nike Hoop Summit scrimmaged today and here’s a clip of Huan keeping an offensive possession alive before sprinting back on defense after a teammate’s turnover at the top of the arc. Huan not only beats the opposing guard to the basket, blocking his shot at its peak (damn near the top of the box), he then beats everyone back down the floor to convert a put-back layup. Sky seems to be the limit for this kid once he’s at Purdue with Brandon Brantley. Star potential.
