Wow. Honestly, he looked like the league MVP to start the season. He looked absolutely incredible. The hits he took all year added up to what we saw versus the Patriots. He was jittery and constantly fidgeting, like a guy ready to get hit hard. Eventually, your body tries to protect you from all the pain. Fortify the offensive line and watch what happens. I'll be very alone in this. Most people will just listen to the media heads who say, "He sucks in the playoffs." It's fine. I actually have full confidence he will win in the playoffs. Give him a line. 👉🧠🧠🧠He's going to quite literally have to retrain his body not to expect to get hit.

I can't be the only one who spends time going back and watching Chargers highlights during the offseason. One of my favorite games was when Herbert went for 362 yards against the Bengals. He delivered in the clutch and improved his head-to-head record against Burrow to (2-0). ⚡️

I've been hated on and laughed at for defending Justin Herbert, so this is nothing new. I'm completely used to it. I know so many of you know exactly how I feel. There is reason for genuine optimism if you're a Chargers fan, though, and I'll tell you why: 👇 ⚡️ The Return of Slater ad Alt. ⚡️ Fantastic Cap Space. ⚡️ Exciting young RBs, TEs, and WRs! Like Hampton, Gadsden, and Harris/KLS. ⚡️ Exciting young defenders like Tuli, Oweh, Henley, etc.…. What we found out is Justin Herbert can't win in the playoffs with the worst offensive line in football. Does that mean I'm absolving him of his missed throws and opportunities versus the Patriots? Nope! He needs to be better. However, I absolutely still think we have the right QB to help us win it all. This is a team sport, and we need a fortified team to go all the way. Watch the video below, and tell me you don't see an elite talent. I just think Justin needs the right play-caller and some actual pass protection. 👇

So many of you are ready to NEVER think about that Jaguars vs. Chargers playoff game ever again. I completely understand that mindset, but if you're like me, and you believe Justin will get us to the Super Bowl one day, hear me out. 🙏 There's no doubt Herbert's haters will shout "he blew a 27-0 lead!" until he retires. So my perspective on this game is let's ACTUALLY look at it. What REALLY happened in that game? I'll show you 👇 We were up 27-7 at halftime. So, the game plan coming out of the second half was to run the football. Wanna know how that turned out? Ekeler had 2.6 YPC, 34 total rushing yards... So we ran. Punted. The Jaguars scored. Ran. Punted. The Jaguars scored. Ran. Punted. The Jags scored. Staley made zero adjustments as his defense was getting humiliated. Finally, Herbert started to throw the football. Watch the video to see what happened 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Dicker gets so close that he has a chip shot field goal. Annnnd, he missed. The Jaguars score and win the game. When you throw for 273 yards and have zero turnovers in your first playoff appearance, I refuse to listen to those who say he just chokes on the big stage. He's delivered in the clutch more than anyone else other than Mahomes. Those who still believe in Justin Herbert will be vindicated one day.
