The Premier and several Cabinet Ministers hosted a mini bullpit session at the Central Alberta Leader's Dinner on May 1. This was a good question: "Is there any way we can stop transfer payments to Quebec if they don't let those pipelines through?" Premier replies that collecting our own taxes and remitting them to Ottawa is something Quebec is considering and might just make a good referendum question...

Premier Smith responded today to Sean Amato's request for a comment regarding her husband's presence at a meeting about trains awhile back. For some reason, this has been a favorite point for the Left and media to pick at. As the Premier notes in this clip, it's kind of ironic that the latest outspoken critic is none other than Lou Arab, CUPE president and husband of Rachel Notley.
