Seeing Astro Boy/Mighty Atom love on the timeline since this dropped yesterday after so long has made me smile so much 2003 was amazing, but I hardly see folks talk abt the 80s version, imo the birth of Atom in the show was so intimate He's just a baby :(

Have a lot to say abt the post-2010s vocal direction and how WEIRD it can be to jump from anything prior then to Colors But they've always done decent keeping Shadow's sound consistent. Kirk has this loud gravel quirk in his voice but sometimes he sounds like a good David match

NGL, SA2 and Heroes were Ryan's BEST works as Sonic, but the MAIN reason I'm ride or die for his Sonic specifically is bc of Nazo IDC if they're OOC voice clips, Chakra-X used those clips to the FULLEST and bc of that, that'll FOREVER be how Sonic's voice generally sounds to me

We should actually talk abt this cuz looking back on Jaleel and even Ryan's Sonic to an extent, it did feel like they were kinda... going for somethin' vaguely adjacent Considering Sonic's inspos, at least from 1991 to the mid 2000s, before losing the higher sound into the 2010s
