Last night I traveled to Solano College to watch a man compete on the Santa Rosa Junior College women’s volleyball team. Three things are obvious: 1) He’s a terrible athlete, and would not make most high school boys’ JV volleyball teams. 2) A female athlete lost a spot on this team to a man. A woman missed an opportunity to gain collegiate playing experience and coaching. 3) The women on the Santa Rosa team have to pretend like he’s a woman in their locker room and when he touches their shoulders and backside.
