This is fascinating. I just started the Switch demo and I've already noticed that the English script seems to be slightly different compared to the PC/PS5 demo. I wonder if the Switch version contains an earlier draft of the translation or vice versa. Curious to see more.

Free-to-play versions of some of Falcoms games were apparently released in South Korea as part of a service called FROG in the 2000s. The way it worked was that players would watch ads that periodically popped up during loading screens. Pretty funny to see in action.

I highly recommend watching Archipel's latest doc about the making of Hundred Line. It does a great job of spotlighting what an amazing achievement the title is and highlights the fear of how completely handmade games of this scale may become more and more rare in the future.
