It’s been a long 26 hours filled with ups and downs and many blessings. His right kidney’s bleeding has slowed down. The chest tubes inserted into both of his lungs have decreased blood draining into them. He is responding to some commands. He has six spinal fractures, multiple rib fractures, multiple shoulder blade fractures, his right hand has multiple fractures and he fractured his pelvis along with both lungs had large pneumothoraxes. Tonight he responded to me asking him to open his eyes and tonight, when my sister called him he opened his eyes. I’m sharing this sweet video with you all who have fiercely prayed for our son. We have a long road ahead of us, but I am hopeful we will do it together 💜💜

She said: “We see you. We hear you. We will not look away.” She said: “Break the code of silence.” “Accountability matters.” But when sexual harassment was actually FOUND… when it was time for real accountability… 👉 The hearing was avoided 👉 The House was bypassed 👉 The findings were buried I said it plainly: “Words are not enough. We must DO them.” You don’t get to stand on the floor and champion survivors…Then protect a system that silences them. Try again

SB26-111, a bill to protect children from sexual predators, was just killed in Senate Judiciary. For the third time. This bill would have removed probation for those who sexually assault children. That shouldn’t be controversial. But here we are. Even more disturbing — Senator Heinrichsen has supported policies like legalizing prostitution and expanding recognition of polyamorous relationships… yet won’t support putting child rapists behind bars!!! Let that sink in. Colorado continues to protect criminals while victims are left with a lifetime of trauma. We are furious. And we are not backing down. We will turn this anger into action and keep fighting for Colorado’s kids. The Senators who voted to kill this bill: 👉🏼 Heinrichson 👉🏼 Wallace 👉🏼 Weissman 👉🏼 Benavides Make your voices heard. Colorado’s children deserve better.

🚨 This is unacceptable. 🚨 Last night in HHS SMART Act hearings, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment admitted they are not following the federal vaccine schedule — despite receiving hundreds of millions in federal funding. Why? Because they claim to be “following the science.” These are the same people who told us: • Locking kids out of school was “the science” • Masking children for years was “the science” • Multiple COVID shots for kids were “the science” • And watching mental health, learning, and development collapse was “worth it” Now they want to ignore federal standards, keep COVID shots on the childhood schedule, reject reduced dosing, and act shocked when asked about losing funding. When I asked what happens if Colorado loses $324 million, their answer was: Funding is “stable.” That’s not science. That’s ideology protected by bureaucracy. Parents deserve transparency. Taxpayers deserve accountability. Colorado families deserve better than officials who never admit they were wrong.

Stop trying to gaslight us. Coloradans know the truth- and it doesn’t match the talking points. Our cars are still being stolen. Our neighborhoods still feel unsafe. Crime may be down from its peak, but we’re still above pre-pandemic levels, and families are paying the price. We need real accountability, not political spin. 🎥 Watch my remarks on the floor.

TABOR is clear: when the state takes too much, it goes back to YOU. Government spending is up 50% in 6 years—population only 5%. And now HB26-1419 tries to change the math so they can keep more of your money. That’s a backdoor tax increase. I voted NO.

I was just given a voice recording where Josh Salem continues to threaten me and my family. He continues to attack me, a mom who has been through one of the worst situations a mother could possibly face and he laughs and making my life harder. People are allowed to disagree with my politics, but threatening my personal safety and the safety of my family is so vile and disgusting that I have ZERO words for it. This man is a republican, he has close ties with my state party and with many who work with me and who have yet to call out his despicable actions. This cannot continue to happen in politics. We must all take a stand against this behavior BEFORE VIOLENCE happens. So, take a stand, call his behavior out, and tell him to stop now. I will not tolerate this. And btw, I am NOT IN A PICKLE, he does r scare me, he will not make me fear running for re-election, and the peace deal he’s talking about is an X post where I DEFENDED myself against him and I refused to take it down. Enough.

I asked for the LONG BILL to be read at length today. Not to stall. Not for politics. But because what’s happening in this building is being buried, and the people of Colorado deserve time to SEE it. We’ve heard nonstop speeches about “protecting victims.” But as a victim of sexual harassment inside this Capitol, I was denied justice. No transparency. No accountability. Instead? It was buried. And the moment I stood up to say it from the well… Majority Leadership moved to shut it down. The Majority Leader rushed to lay the bill over—using a rule most people have never even heard of. Silenced. Again. Let that sink in. They will preach about victims— but when it’s one of their own? They shut it down. They bury it. They move on. So yes, I’m slowing this process down. Because this isn’t just about a $46 BILLION budget being rushed through in hours. It’s about a culture that protects itself instead of protecting victims. Colorado deserves honesty. Colorado deserves transparency. And victims deserve to be heard, not silenced.

Colorado democrats just voted to give 13.9 million more dollars to treat migrant children at the cost to taxpayers who cannot even afford healthcare for their own children. Instead of debating the issue, the Democrats chose to impugn our motives!!! Despicable behavior.

Colorado's budget has skyrocketed from $23B to $45B in just 6 years—spending up 36%, 10x population growth! But what do we have to show for it? 💔45th in K-12 education 💔3rd most dangerous state 💔43rd in highway performance 💔Cost of living higher than 33 states Billions spent, yet we're struggling with schools, safety, and roads. Time to rethink priorities! #ColoradoBudget #FiscalResponsibility #TheLongBill #copolitics

They called me out for congratulating ProtectKidsColorado for championing ballot initiatives and getting Prop 108 on the ballot. They don’t want transparency for ballot initiatives, they want to silence grassroots conservatives from running ballot initiatives!!!!

We have argued the ammo bill for 4 1/2 hours. We are drawing a line in the sand for the bigger ones to come. Almost six hours against their horrible J6 resolution this morning. We have saved the people of Colorado from further regulations and fees for the day!!! And please don’t argue about women’s rights and then take away our ability to defend ourselves according to our God given constitutional rights. You can’t have it both ways!!

Rep Garcia you’re up!! Congratulations House District 35 on electing this woman to represent you… this is what she had to say about putting child r$pists in jail… -we are sentencing child r$pists to inhumane torture and I won’t be a part of that… -by sentencing child r$pists, she cannot participate in creating more victims -even as a survivor of r$pe, I don’t wish that on anyone not even my own r$pist -we are not a system that is an eye for an eye here. -43% of people incarcerated experience r$pe while incarcerated and she is fundamentally opposed to my bill to put child r$pists in jail. I was told to take emotion out of everything all the while Lorena Garcia decides to not put her r$pist in jail and allow other r$pists to continue to r&pe the children of Colorado… Great job, HD 35!!!! I wonder if she thinks about these children who have been r&ped who are sentenced to a life of torment, probably not while she’s collecting six figures to chair Elephant Circle, a group who promotes the feticide of babies in Colorado. Or maybe she only stands up for sexual assault victims when there’s a photo op… Watch for yourself!! They want to confine this to the small committee that ended at almost 3am in hopes that is doesn’t get out…..

Hey guys, I’m hearing a lot of confusion about HB25-1312, so I decided to break it down for you. Don’t trust the bill summary—it never changes, even when the bill does. The real issues are in the fine print: 📌 SECTION 6 allows a student to adopt a name different from their legal name at school for any reason. Parents can still be left in the dark. This is how they divide kids from their families—and it’s still in the bill. 📌 SECTION 8 changes the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA) to include “chosen name” tied to identity characteristics like sexual orientation and gender identity. What does that mean for businesses, churches, and parents? ➡️ Can a parent lose custody for “discriminating” against their own child? ➡️ Can private schools, churches, or summer camps be sued for not using a chosen name? ➡️ How many times must someone “misgender” before they’re legally liable? This is dangerous, vague policy—pushed through without real answers. 💥 They’re lying to you when they say the bill is fixed. It came back from the Senate worse than before. We’ve seen what happened to Jack Phillips and Lori Smith. Don’t think this won’t come for your family, your church, or your small business. CALL 303-866-2885 Tell Governor Polis: VETO HB25-1312. And if he won’t—parents will show up at the ballot box. Enough is enough.

Democrats had the chance to save Colorado taxpayers $400 million by cutting wasteful spending on abortions, gender procedures, and healthcare for illegal immigrants. Instead, they voted NO on every single common-sense cut. Representative Bottoms and I came ready to be the adults in the room—Democrats chose politics over fiscal responsibility. It’s time to reclaim Colorado and put taxpayers first.

Today, I called out the TABOR haters — Senator Mike Weissman and Reps. Lorena García and Yara Zokaie — for trying to gut your Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) without your permission. The voters put TABOR in place in 1992 to LIMIT government growth. But now, these politicians think they know better than YOU. They want to carve loopholes around TABOR so they can spend more of your money — without ever going back to the people. 👉 When we agree with the voters, we leave it. When we disagree, we legislate over the will of the people!" 👉 "This is what we are doing to you, Colorado — circumventing your rights!" NO more government overreach. NO more TABOR carve-outs without a vote. NO on SB25-173!
