The big counter every alt-L1 is going to bring to Mega is "we can do pre-confs too bro"—but that's not the level-up. The level-up is that we can execute tx in the same time as their pre-confs BUT WE CAN ALSO IMMEDIATELY REFLECT THAT TO OTHER USERS. We can do that because we offer 99.999% guarantees that once that tx receipt is given to them (<10ms execution time + distance to sequencer) that it is final. There is ~0 risk of that transaction being forked out. That confidence means that other users can IMMEDIATELY act on that information without worry that it will not be true because of something outside of their control. Instant ecosystem composability. This will happen at a threshold below what is literally possible for chains with consensus. Like, they'd have to redefine physics. So, unless these alt-chains plan to revive Sir Isaac Newton to bring onto the foundation they will be forever disadvantaged against Mega. Here's an example from the same team demonstrating how 2 user perspectives interact. One buying and the other getting their pricing on the curve immediately updated, because that new price is the permanently-new price and not "probably the new price for the next 3s." The wild thing is PRoBLeMCHiLD.JPeG // TopStrike.io doesn't think this is end state and there is more juice to squeeze for his consumer app. I'm ready to get this stuff on the open for optimizooors to see how far it can be taken

"Base is fast enough, right? You scale it up 10x and who cares?" Everyone. Everyone should care, because there is objectively not enough blockspace. Lets back it up with numbers because anyone with this mindset is net-bearish our entire industry. --------------- First: → Base TPS oscillates around 200. Decent. Second: → Lets 10x that. 2,000 TPS. Cool. --------------- Now, lets compare that against the field and extrapolate some things. Industry Utilization Comparisons → Solana (~1.1k TPS) → Hyperliquid (~10k TPS) → Lighter (~4k TPS) Think about that for a second. Hyperliquid: → Is a subset of a subset of finance. Select perps on crypto-only assets (I know, I know HIP-3). Solana: → Launchpads, general trading, a few DePIN projects Lighter: → Again, a subset of a subset of trading. --------------- Now think about the ambitions of this industry. We want to include: - All the assets on all markets (Stock market, Bond market, Commodity market, Forex market. etc) - All the people trading on these markets - All the assets that don't even have markets yet. Now try to combine these into a singular (or few) state environments, which is the user demand trend of recent years (IBRL eco vs modular eco), and throw on novel creations alongside the meme, gambol, DePIN and collectable verticals and you see how quickly needs grow beyond not just current blockspace demand but current blockspace capacity. We are literally so far away from what could be perceived as enough block space that no one properly looking at this industry can or should make those claims. Haseeb >|< has made this point on a few occasions to the defense of new chains and he's right—the march of technology and scale will not (and should not) stop, because the demand for blockspace is exponentials from here. We're woefully prepared for what's to come and only chains thinking on the scales of tens-to-hundreds of thousands of TPS will win.

.Noise video for those still code hunting. This is me shorting Opensea and Succint. Things to note: • The UX is intentionally simple, clean and fast. Gud. • You are trading attention, not token prices. Here that is represented by Kaito mindshare on crypto projects (infra and apps). • It is not an app restricted to web3 as attention is present (and desired) in all industries. If there is an accepted metric which tracks the attention of fashion brands you can put it in to an oracle and long/short seasonal trends. (are joggers coming back!?) Bonus note: The seamless flow is a look into a future where 7702 is implemented everywhere. No more approvals. While 7702 is already live on Mega that is not what is implemented here (wallet support needed first). It's a view into the future though.
