The NC House just passed SB 1080, which would amend the North Carolina Constitution to cap the state income tax rate at 3.5%. 46 of my Democratic colleagues voted against lower taxes. At least they’re being honest about where they stand: they want you paying more. #ncpol

My Democrat colleagues talk a lot about “mercy” and “kindness.” But where was the kindness for Iryna? Where was the mercy in letting a 14 time repeat offender roam free, only to end her life? This isn't compassion. It's chaos, and I am standing against it. #ncpol

🚨Breaking: Sanctuary counties are done in North Carolina. The NC General Assembly has PASSED the Criminal Illegal Alien Enforcement Act. This commonsense law ensures sheriffs notify ICE when violent criminals are here illegally and requires immigration laws to be enforced. #ncpol

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools still claims the filth I exposed yesterday is not on their website. Well, explain to me then Dr. Trice why they are STILL up and recommended? I’ll make this easy. Take them down, stop the grooming, and resign! #ncpol

DEI is officially done in North Carolina. Proud to announce that my bill HB 171 has officially passed the NC House. HB 171 ends taxpayer funded DEI programs in the state, & requires employment and contracts are based solely on merit not identity politics. #ncpol #meritmatters

Not My Fault McFadden just admitted on a televised debate that he didn’t follow state law. This man is shameless. #ncpol

Many North Carolinians don’t even realize that dozens of families are still homeless 8 years after Hurricane Matthew. Governor Coopers incompetence has lead to millions of misallocated funds which were meant for victims but went into the pockets of lobbyists and NGOs. HB 222 will given Hurricane Matthew victims the houses and help that they deserve. #ncpol #ncga #hurricanecooper
