CLARIFICATION: it was at this very moment, I fell for him and there was no looking back. But in the quiet, I study his thinking. I learn from the very mind I contend with. I follow his work closely, I learn from his depth, his research, his insistence on anchoring discussions in history. Thatโs the irony of intellectual combat; you grow even as you resist. My disagreements do NOT blind me to the value he brings, and my critiques are not an attempt to belittle what he has built. And whatever our political differences, his work isnโt diminished in my eyes. His achievements as a scholar remain something any fair observer can appreciate, myself included.
