Love in Action 💚 At Broccoli, we are dedicated to transforming charitable giving with blockchain, ensuring every donation is transparent, efficient, and impactful. As part of our official charity initiative, two incredible members from our Brazilian community took action on behalf of Broccoli to support stray dogs in need! Together, they donated approximately 400kg of dog food and 21 units of medication to Ameumpet, an NGO committed to rescuing and sheltering stray dogs. But the generosity didn’t stop there! Upon receiving the medication, Laísa, a volunteer at Ameumpet, set aside part of it to help another individual who was urgently caring for stray dogs—an inspiring example of how one act of kindness can create a ripple effect. Most of the dogs at Ameumpet are elderly, with some having been at the shelter since its founding. Larger and older dogs are often overlooked for adoption, making it even more crucial for us to support them. May this kind gesture touch all your hearts. 🥦 Rescuing Stray Animals – We Are Taking Action! This time, we are supporting a stray animal rescue shelter that is struggling under immense financial pressure. The shelter consists of three small courtyards and is managed by a single individual, caring for over 300 dogs and 100 cats. Their monthly expenses amount to approximately $7000, and they are currently in debt. To help alleviate their burden, we have donated $1102 to purchase food and medicine. At present, all expenses have been fully covered by volunteers, and once the receipts are submitted, the funds will be reimbursed from the community treasury. Meanwhile, our on-chain charity feature is now live! Moving forward, we will be accepting rescue requests from around the world, ensuring that every donation is transparent, traceable, and accountable.
