Jacob Rees Mogg, the son of the author of the Sovereign Individual and former MP. I’ve listened to Rees-Mogg for years talking about the state of the UK economy. But this is the first time I can recall him directly addressing Bitcoin. He immediately compared it to Gold. But struggled with its opacity and mystery. Acknowledged its massive gains and lack of historical data of why he is skeptical. To me this shows connections with “Whitehall” they are not dismissing bitcoin anymore.

This industry was based off of low time preference and the past 3 weeks has been pure cope because everyone’s bags are down. While this US administration is moving at an extraordinary pace to get so much stuff changed. Sacks talks about defining market structure within digital assets, and hopes to have a bill passed within the next 6 months. I don’t think people understand how quick that is in politics terms. They are literally laying the ground work for digital assets for the next 100 years.
