genuinely shocked by jimmy’s newest video will likely be his worst performing video in ages but imo it’s the most effective video ive seen from him in communicating how much he cares food and water infrastructure, flood prevention, geolocation, all types of consideration that points this wasn’t a project for spectacle. longevity and sustainability was the goal in what he’s doing and the call to action at the end was kinda aura ngl. completely goes against the traditional retention based playbook and felt like a real attempt to leverage his influence for a positive change in society

transparently i couldn't care less about what people think about ai. everyone draws their own lines and i'm still drawing my own. but through every market change, real people are being impacted, and for this project i'm choosing to work with real people to solve hard problems. time will tell if enough people still want things made by humans, but for this project, i don't need them to. i'm doing this because i think it's cool to work with talented engineers who actually understand how the thing works. all to solve a problem that nobody has anymore. but that was never really the point
