GRAPHIC: CBP officers shoot another person in Minneapolis at point-blank range. Footage obtained exclusively by BT shows federal officers on Nicollet Ave. on top of a man on the ground, before one CBP officer pulls his gun and repeatedly fires. Witnesses say that after the shooting CBP then walked down the block filming bystanders. Nothing else is known at this point about what preceded this, the identity of the man shot, or his current condition. FBI agents and an ambulance are at the scene.

After US Ambassador to the UN Mike Walz accused Cuba of repressing and imprisoning political dissidents, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla fired back. Presenting a photograph of Renee Nicole Good to the UN General Assembly, he states bluntly to Waltz, "This woman cannot be released from jail – because she was murdered by ICE." Showing image after image of ICE raids and repression of protestors, Rodríguez Parrilla says simply, "This isn't Cuba. This is in the US."

Jeffery Love confronts local officials at Monday night's Mundelein Village Board meeting over the killing of her daughter by Mundelein police. Mary Alice Love, a Black woman, was experiencing a mental health crisis on May 11 when her family called a non-emergency number seeking assistance. Instead of mental health professionals, police arrived. Mary Alice was shot four times by Mundelein Police Officer Christopher Brigano. Family members and their supporters have protested outside of the Mundelein Village Hall and attended multiple board meetings demanding justice for Mary Alice. No officers have been fired or disciplined for the shooting. Village officials have not discussed making any changes to their mental health response or use of force policies.
